This is a comic book where the graduate is the main character. Their real face, drawn into the story, on every page — the end of the thing they just finished, told as an adventure.
Why it works for a graduation
A graduation is a threshold, and the gifts that survive it are the ones that mark the moment rather than equip the next one. A pen gets lost in a drawer inside a year. A book with their face on the cover is still identifiable in a box of student things twenty years later.
The three stories take the three things this moment actually feels like: getting through the last stretch, the last day itself, and the uncertain business of what happens next. None of them is a card that says congratulations.
It also works when you do not know what they are doing next, which is most of the time. You are not betting on a career by buying it.
How it works

Graduation dates run from late spring to autumn depending on the school, so there is no single deadline — allow the window above between ordering and the book arriving, counting back from the ceremony. Each book is made when you order it. If the date is closer than that, the comic is finished as soon as you make it, so the digital version can be there on the day.

Will it actually look like them?
That is the part this is built around, and the part most personalised comics get wrong — the face drifts after a few pages until it is somebody else. Here the likeness holds from the first page to the last, and the first pages are free to read before you pay.
Does it work for school as well as university?
Yes. Each story is written at three reading levels, so the same plot suits a sixteen-year-old leaving school or someone finishing a masters — you choose the level when you make it.
Can I get several for a group of friends?
Each one is a separate comic with its own photo, so yes, but make them individually. A group of graduates each holding a book starring themselves is a better result than one book they share.
Can two people be in it?
Yes — all three stories work with one face or two, so you can put a friend, partner or parent in alongside them.
