The hard people to buy for are not the ones who want nothing. They are the ones who already have everything, and who will be polite about another candle.
This is a comic book with them in it. Not a caricature and not a cartoon that vaguely resembles them — their actual face, drawn into the story, on every page from the first to the last. They open it on Christmas morning and find themselves as the main character.
Why it lands at Christmas in particular
Christmas is the one day of the year when everybody opens presents in the same room at the same time. That is a bad day to give a gift card and a very good day to give something that gets passed around the table and read aloud.
It is also the gift that survives Boxing Day. A personalised comic is not consumed — it goes on a shelf, and it is still there next Christmas, which is not true of chocolate, socks, or the fourth candle.

Will it actually look like them?
That is the part the whole thing is built around, and it is the part most personalised comics get wrong — the face drifts after a few pages until it is somebody else. Here the likeness holds from the first page to the last. You do not have to take our word for it: the first pages are free to read before you pay.
Can I put two people in it?
Yes. Every Christmas story works with one person or two, so you can star a couple, two siblings, or a parent and a child. Both appear throughout, not one as the lead and one in the background.
Is it for children or adults?
Both. Each story is written at three reading levels — kids, teenagers and adults — and you pick which one when you create it. The same Christmas plot reads differently for a seven-year-old and for your father.
What if I leave it too late?
The comic itself is ready to read the moment it is made, so if the printed book cannot arrive in time you can still give the digital version on the day and let the book follow. A gift card is available too.
Can it be sent straight to them?
