This is a comic book where the two of you are the main characters. Both faces, drawn into the story, on every page — not one of you starring and the other in the background.
Why a comic works for an anniversary
An anniversary is not really about a present. It is about acknowledging a shared history, which is exactly the thing a generic gift cannot do and a story can: the two of you, together, in an adventure that only makes sense with both of you in it.
Most personalised gifts handle couples badly. A mug with two names on it is two names on a mug. Putting two real faces through twenty to forty pages of the same story is a different object, and it is the one that ends up on a shelf rather than in a cupboard.
It also solves the problem of the partner who genuinely wants nothing. They are not being difficult — they have everything they need. What they do not have is a book with the two of you in it.

Every anniversary is on a different date, so there is no single deadline — allow the window above between ordering and the book arriving. Each one is made when you order it. If the date is closer than that, the comic itself is finished the moment you make it, so the digital version can be there on the night and the book can follow.

Will it actually look like both of us?
That is the part this is built around, and the part most personalised comics get wrong — the faces drift after a few pages until they are two other people. Here both likenesses hold from the first page to the last. The first pages are free to read, so you can check before paying.
Do all three stories need two people?
These ones are written for two, because that is what an anniversary is. Every story says on its own page how many faces it takes, and plenty of the others work with one.
Is it soppy?
Only if you pick the soppy one. The three range from a date night that goes sideways to a time-travelling love story to a proposal played as a heist. Read the loglines below and pick the tone you actually want.
Can I use it to propose?
People do. The Proposal Mission is written for it — the story builds to the question, and you hand them the book instead of saying it. Order it far enough ahead that the printed copy is in your hands, not in transit.
What about a wedding anniversary for someone else?
